junior college, and two private trade schools: Universal Technical Institute and Lincoln College of

$20.79/hr., 3,180 for diesel mechanics at $22.36/hr., and 1,680 auto body repair at $22.04/hr.

degrees: Brookhaven (N. Dallas), Cedar Valley (S.W. Dallas), and Eastfield (Mesquite). The degrees are:
Service Technician A.A.S., Dealer-sponsored Technician, A.A.S. (Ford/GM), Honda Professional
Automotive training A.A.S., Toyota Tech training A.A.S. Also Dallas College offers one-year certificate
programs, such as: chassis tech, electronics & climate control, engine repair & performance tech, the transmission service tech, and High performance modification.
Dallas College tuition for two year associates degree is: $4,740. Starting salaries which depend on
which degree you choose are: $23,846 to $48,076 as of 2020.
As of 2020, tuition for one year certificates are: $1,185 to $1,659.
Universal Technical Institute most popular courses are: Automotive Mechanics or Diesel Mechanics.
Lincoln College of Technology most popular auto course is: Automotive Mechanics.
As of 2020 tuition for both private trade schools is just under $20,000 a year and most courses are finished in a year. As of 2020 salaries after six year's post-graduation range between $37,100 to $46,500.
